Hi there! We are Ryan and Denay Miller and we live in a snug little home in Southern California. When we got married back in 2009, we knew we wanted to have kids right away. Month after month, and then year after year, we grieved over the many failed attempts to add to our family. Infertility treatment, miscarriages, a failed adoption, you name it we went through it. We were finally blessed with a sparkling ray of sunshine on Easter Sunday in 2014. Elias entered the world and became our son through the gift of adoption. From the top of his luscious head of hair, to the bottoms of his chubby feet, our dimple faced cutie filled every longing and hope that we ever had about parenthood.
Adoption was such a wonderful experience for us, that we thought it would be the only way we would pursue a second baby if/when that time came. But our plans never work out the way we expect them to! Elias was 6 months old, and after a couple weeks of exhaustion and a delayed period, we were shocked to see the word “Pregnant” pop up on a home pregnancy test. It was such a joy to experience pregnancy and our second son, Nolan, was born nine months later.
Our love for babywearing started immediately after our oldest was born. The constant cuddles and practicality of being hands free was not something we could keep to ourselves. What started as raving to our friends about carriers we loved, turned into building partnerships with manufacturers and opening our very own online store – CozyRoo.com. As the family behind CozyRoo, we are selling products that we actually use in our home on a daily basis. We can stand behind their comfort, and they have been given the stamp of approval by our kiddos. You can rest assured that the carriers in our store are ergonomic and support the natural growth of babies/toddlers as they grow.
There was a time when we faced the real possibility that we might not get to be parents. And now we’re operating a baby carrier store out of our home, with our two little guys at our heels. We couldn’t ask for a better set up. 🙂
